Sep. 10, 2018

The Moose Jaw Generals came out on the losing end in Swift Current on Sunday, falling 5-1 to the Legionnaires in Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League preseason action.

The loss comes just three days after the Generals skated to a 4-1 win over the Legionnaires at Mosaic Place to open the exhibition schedule.

Evan Sare had the lone goal for Moose Jaw in Sunday’s loss, potting a power play marker late in the second period to break up Swift Current’s 4-0 advantage.

Blake Rasmuson scored twice, while Chase Gallant and Kersey Reich picked up a goal and two points each in the win for the Legionnaires.

The Generals will wrap-up the preseason with three games this week, they travel to Regina on Thursday, then face the Notre Dame Hounds in Wilcox on Saturday and finish up against the Hounds at Mosaic Place on Sunday morning.
